Autograph Book

When we went in '99, my 4 1/2 year old loved doing the autographs. I actually got a great suggestion from these boards before we went. I made sure that every character he got an autograph from, we took a pic of him with them. Just make sure you use just one page for each character....don't let one character sign on the back of another. I purchased one of the small photo albums in Disney that holds a regular size pic (i guess 3 1/2 x 5). When I got the pics developed, I put the pics of my son on one side of a page and the autograph opposite the pic. It came out so GREAT and became his own personal photo album of all the characters he met. Of course, you need to take apart the autograph book but we think it is worth it. We are going again in three weeks and will do the same thing.

I bought a hard sided Disney story book at Walmart before our trip. It had stories and pictures of most of the characters in it. I brought along a Sharpie- permanent black marker. The characters made quite a big deal about having their story and picture in our book. Pluto even sulked away at a breakfast because he was the only character we couldn't find a picture of in the book (we did find it later however and he happily signed it). The book has a table of contents at the beginning so it was easy to find a particular story/picture when we saw a character.

I forgot to add-- I also purchased a Disney "princess" poster at Walmart. It had Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Arielle, Sleeping Beauty, and Jasmine on it. We did the Cinderella character b-fast and got some of their signatures and the fairy god mother's. We are planning on framing it and hanging it on the wall when (and if) we get the other signatures.
