I wan to make one for my nieces and nephew for there upcoming trip. I know they are doing breakfast at goofys and breakfast with minnie. What characters do I need that they will see at the meals as well as in the park. I really do not want to miss one. Any and all help is welcome.

Can you be more specific with exactly what you are wanting? I can tell you at Goofy's we saw a total of 5 characters and at minnie's we saw 12 and I can tell you who we saw but who they will see could be completely different. Also no telling how many they will see elsewhere like PFF or PH or just running around the park. Who knows? How many you will see is kind of dependent on where you are and when you are there. We took a 100 page autograph book and my son age 6 got a total of 42 autographs. He could have gotten more than that if we had chosen to stand in lines. It was his first trip and we went with his agenda and he did not want to stand in long lines for characters.

Terrance and other Fairies (I'm not sure which specific ones).

There are lots of others in parades, but I'm not sure if they ever come out to sign. We were there for 5 days and my DD4 (at the time) stopped for every character she could find. We just used one of the park autograph books that hold pictures, so we also have a photo of her with the character next to their signature. We finished filling our book just as we were walking out the gates to leave for our final time!

(The kiddo just went down for a nap and I had a few extra minutes. Can you tell I was bored today? I went Smiley Crazy!)

We also saw the White Rabbit at the Plaza Inn, as well as Foulfellow from Pinocchio.

At Goofys we always see Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. We've also seen Minnie, Jasmine, Mulan, Baloo, Gepetto, Aladdin, Belle in her blue dress, Sleeping Beauty and Alice. I think I am missing someone, but can't remember who for the life of me now.

The fairies meet and greet has Iridessa, Silvermist, Rosetta and Fawn besides Tink. Occasionally Vidia is with Tink, but I am not sure if this is still ongoing. Terence is a possibility, but according to a CM I spoke to in November he'll only be there if one of the other fairies can't make it. He is not on the usual schedule. Rosetta is rarely out too, she was only scheduled for one day of my 2 weeks trip in fall.

Daisy is only at the Surf's Up Breakfast in Paradise Pier, I have never heard of her being out in the parks unless it was fo a parade.

Unless I missed a major change Maleficent was only out for Halloweentime and only during the parties. Sometimes the Evil Queen from Snow White is out though.

Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Chip and Dale are out very often, mostly in Town Square. In November we regularly saw Gepetto and Pinocchio there too, and also Mary Poppins and Bert as well as Cruella DeVille. One morning even had the White Rabbit with the Queen of Hearts!
Donald is not in Town Square that often per my experience, Toontown would be your better bet for him.

We saw Goofy's son Max, Aurora, Mulan, Pocahontas, the Evil Queen and Chip and Dale near Animation Academy in DCA, but not sure how this is going right now with the construction.

We've bumped into Brer Bear and Brer Fox near Splash Mountain, but that was three years ago. Also Stitch was in DCA near the entrance, but of course with the construction that'll not work anymore either. (Just trying to cover all possibilities there. )

Like TheColtonsMom has said, it's really hard to tell who you may meet.
I've been going for Halloweentime since 2006 and 2010 was the first year I met The White Rabbit. Local friends of mine are there basically every weekend and never met him.

You probably are already doing this, but I always make sure I have some extra pages for characters that I may have forgotten. I just decorate them with Disney stuff, just not character specific.

Or is the point to search through the book and fill them out like a treasure hunt?

We also saw Baloo the Bear at Minnie's Breakfast. And don't forget Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled! They have a new Meet 'n' Greet area for them this year in Fantasyland over by Pinocchio's ride. I didn't see Piglet in any of the lists below, he's in Critter County.

Other than the ones already mentioned, I have also seen the following:

~ Genie: near Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln in DL
~ Suzy (mouse with blue dress from Cinderella): outside the hat store on Main Street
~ the penguins from Mary Poppins where the Walt & Mickey statue is in front of the castle
~ Rabbit: Pooh's meet & greet in Critter Country
~ Darth Vader & Stormtroopers near Star Tours (this was almost 2 years ago though)
~ Twiddle Dee & Twiddle Dum (caught them en route to their show at the DL entrance)
~ Green Army Men: they usually put on a little show in DCA near Paradise Pier
~ Duffy (Mickey's teddy bear): he had his own meet 'n greet in DCA across from Ariel's Grotto in DCA...not sure if he is still there (he doesn't sign though but they give out stickers that say that you hugged Duffy that you can stick on your autograph book)
~ Frozone: Hollywood Backlots in DCA
~ Mr. & Mrs. Incredible: Hollywood Backlots in DCA
~ Sorcerer Mickey: Drawn to Magic show in DCA

I want to have the characters picture on it. I thought it would be cute for the little ones.

Jenn, I might actually just take the blank book, have the character sign one side of the page, leave the other side blank for when you go back home and can add in a picture of the character. That way, you won't have to thumb through 100 pages of character pictures trying to find the one that matches the character standing in front of you.

Sounds like a cute idea, but I agree it might be too difficult finding the page for them to sign, especially if you find it and then book gets closed by accident. It seems you gotta be ready when you are in the front of the line. Trying to think how you could do it to be cute but yet still easy to use and get through. There's no telling who you are going to see, so what if you made a few special pages for their favorites and then random pages for others. When we went to Goofy's in Dec we saw Pluto, Goofy, Aurora, Chip and Baloo. Good luck! I'm sure whatever/however you do it, it will be perfect!

I'd agree with adding the blank pages, just to be sure you got all possibilities covered. That may be a better idea than getting the kids' hopes up to meet a pretty elusive character (Rabbit and Piglet for example seem pretty rare)?

I did drawings of the characters to get signed this year.
I hope the scan is somewhat visible, my scanner doesn't handle pencil very well.

Hauled a big, big folder with me through the plane. Almost 5 pounds worth of paper. I had them sorted in groups depending on what I wanted to do on the day. So for Halloweentime I carried mainly villains, then other days Pixie Hollow etc.

That was already a little difficult to handle, so I bought a blank autograph book just in case I wasn't ready when it was my turn.

For me it was definitely worth the effort, I got some really great reactions.
And I am quite proud to say that the only characters I met I didn't have a drawing for were Mary Poppins and Bert (and those are two I hadn't done on purpose) and the Green Army Man with Jessie, but for him I did have a photo to sign.

Drawn to the Magic is no longer running, they replaced it with that dance show.

Occasionally you can meet Sorcerer Mickey in Mickey's house in Toontown though. We met Bandleader Mickey like 6 time, and then the last time I went in solo it finally was Sorcerer Mickey. :lol:

I know this isn't quite what you're asking for, but I just ordered a book entitled "Disney Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters: Including Characters from Your Favorite Disney Pixar Films" but I haven't received it yet, so I can't give you first-hand feedback. We're planning on using it as an autograph book, since it seems that it would have all the characters in it, at least till 2009 anyway. For us, since we haven't watched every Disney movie (oh no, that's probably a bad thing to admit on this board!), there's probably going to be characters that we don't know. We figure if we can flip through the book (looks like the characters are listed alphabetically), we can probably find the ones we don't recognize. Or at least, that's the theory right now. But like I said, this doesn't really address the fact that you want to make one for your nieces & nephew, now does it. I think it's great you want to make a personalized gift. Maybe the book will help you with ideas? We hope after our trip that we can add our own photos and DD can have it as a keepsake from her first trip. I hope there's space in the book for newer characters to sign too, so we can include those too.

After making several autograph books for my daughters, we got this book too. The character reactions are great when they see the book. They love that they have their own page and usually make a big deal out of it. They are a little heavy (especially when you have more than one), but I highly recommend it! The characters are in alphabetical order.

Characters that I can think of off hand that aren't in the book are: Bert & Mary Poppins, Princess Tiana, Jack & Sally....they all had to sign different parts of the cover for my girls.

When I make my own autograph books I always put the characters in alphabetical order as well, so it's faster finding their page.

I did a book for our last trip. I downloaded templates from the Creative DISigns board and printed them and had them bound. I did 5.5x8.5" pages, so two pages per sheet of paper, then cut the paper. I have connections at an office-supply store and was able to print on cardstock and bind it for free. I have had books bound at Staples for a few bucks, it is the printing that would be pricey.

I did a page for the most common characters and then 4-5 blank pages at the end. I organized them mostly by "type/location." So, I put the princesses together, fairies together, fab 5, pooh & friends, etc. I did multiple pages for a few characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald). The book is the perfect size to attach a 4x6 photo on the page facing the autograph.

Kept the book and a clickable sharpie in a gallon-size ziploc with a sliding zipper.

I did run out of blank pages as we saw some random characters I hadn't expected (stitch, mr. incredible, brer bear and brer fox come to mind).

Some notes: tigger was really excited to see his picture and really played it up. Chip commented/wrote on our tablecloth that he was happy to have his own page vs sharing with dale. Mary Poppens and Bert had to share a page, as I only had a page for the lady. Same with Aladdin and Jasmine.

Forgot to add that you can just tear out the pages not used when you get home. Then your memories are all about who you DID see and not who you didn't.
