I posted over on the Creative Boards, but I haven't got a response yet. Has anyone here made an autograph book to use in the parks? I have these really cute stickers that can be used as page tabs for an autograph book. The fab five and the princesses are already on the sticker, but I would love to make a book to use during my next trip (end of February to DLR).

Can anyone give me ideas or post pictures of what they have done?

Check out the Creative DISigns thread. I've become addicted to it! There you will find autograph pages and all kinds of great custom designs to use on t-shirts, scrapbooks, etc. I'm making DD an autograph book for our trip in May. I hope to finish tomorrow so I'll post pics then.

Here's a few pages that I have done over the last few years:

Great question mla1977!!
And amazing photos Spart02!!
I'd post photos of our handmade books but don't have the know-how!
I bought small hardcover 5x7 scrapbooks for each of my twins and made pages for each character (well, most of the popular ones anyway!), with one side for the signature (decorated with stickers and die-cuts) and one side reserved to put the picture of child and character. They are amazing keepsakes that my kids still look at regularly 5 years later. It's some extra time and effort but you'll be glad you invested it! Have fun! :goodvibes

Thanks for those pictures! Those are some awesome pages!

Amazing photos ideas! You all have inspired me..I'd like to try to make autograph books for my little ones for March!

I took the simple route, but I'm so glad we made our own books. I bought multicolored cardstock in the 6 inch by 6 inch size I believe. My kids each picked out there favorite colors and arranged them in the order they wanted. I think each book has 30 pages maybe. Then I took them to Staples and had them bound. I also had a clear sheet put on the front and back there.

When I brought them home my kids went crazy with Disney stickers on the front and back cover under the protective plastic sheet. DS did Cars, Buzz and Woody, Mickey, Donald, etc. DD did princesses, Mickey, Minnie, etc. We wrote names and contact info inside in case they were lost, hoping someone would mail them back to us or call us.

We took several colors of Sharpies (the click kind) in a baggie. DD especially had fun choosing which color page and marker best suited the character (Ariel signed in turquoise on bright green). We left the page to the left of each autograph blank and stuck a picture of that character with the kids when we got home. Turned out great for us!

Spart02-your book is amazing!
Thanks for sharing!:flower3:

I was emailed a format by someone on the Creative Designs board. Then I took cardstock, and printed out the pictures onto the cardstock. It came out great, and the characters loved it!

Those pages are gorgeous! I would never have the patience to handmake all those pages (probably why I don't scrapbook much)

For the OP..follw the link in my signature and I have pages for just about every character. you can print them out on cardstock and then bind them together to make yourself a book.

Those are some awesome scrapbooking pages! We made our scrapbook/autograph books much simplier, but we still like them. We had the characters sign on the left side of the book and we put our children's photo with that character on the right side of the book (developed the photos when we got home). We bought the scrapbooks at Hobby Lobby before the trip - worked great.

Love your autograph pages!
