Hi!

I have made a total of 5 autograph books in the past. I have made 2 at a time before, but now I need to make 6 at one time.

I have downloaded all the pages I want/need. I know how to do it for one book but printing out 6 books on my laser printer will be a little too much.

Is there some place I can go and have them print out 6 copies? Or is there some place I can go to copy the pages I print?

Is it better to get them printed from snapfish and do them more as photographs?

Any advice on making 6 copies at one time would be great.

ps I know I can bring them to staples and have them bind the books.

If you print out one book, you can take it to Kinkos and copy it, but it will cost you a fortune (I think it's 59 cents a page for color :scared1:). You would be better off printing them off as photographs (matte finish) at some place like Wal-mart. You can glue them onto cardstock, or get photo albums to put them in. You can even order them on Snapfish or Shutterfly as books. There are several good ideas on the Autograph Book thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2323160 . Good luck! :goodvibes

If you have a photo editing program you could keep the actual autograph card 4x6 but make a white border around it and leave extra white space at the top and print as a 5x7 photo on matte paper. I'm sure that didn't make a lot of sense but here is a picture so that hopefully you will see what I'm not doing a good job of explaining. The final size is 5x7 but the autograph card inside is 4x6. You can use the extra white space at the top to have them spiral bound all together. Check online and see if you can't find a buy one photo get one free deal.

I think it looks even better if you increase the autograph image size to 6.5 x 4.333 and still print on 5x7 matte photo paper, so that there is less white space. Then when you have it spiral bound...the white space will be evenly spaced around the autograph image.

I like that idea, Dolly!

If you print on matte photo paper, do you need to have them sign with a certain type of pen? Will it smear? Just trying to figure that out. I would much rather upload and print out as photos than drain the ink on my printer!

It is much cheaper to upload and print as photos. You will want to use a sharpie pen. I make trading cards, print on photo paper and have them sign with a sharpie and have not had problems with smearing. You may want to hold the page for a few seconds to make sure that the sharpie dries before turning the page, but I haven't heard of problems with smearing. The only problems you will have are the few characters that do not sign but have stamps.
