Anyone one been on the auto train recently.......What has check in been like???? Last year it was really easy however I wondering how it is this year?????

Traveled on the AutoTrain in May -- southbound only -- check in was still a breeze. The only difference was that our entire party (children included) need to present ourselves at the check-in counter and adults needed to provide picture I.D.

Everything else was the same. Have a great trip!

Just took the auto train this past June. Check in was very easy both ways. They do request a photo I.D.

We just returned this past Monday from WDW using the Autotrain. Check-in was very easy, both in Lorton and Sanford. In both places I checked in for all of us. I had photo ID for me and DH. There is a new policy regarding carry-on baggage, but the only thing I noticed different is that they gave us little name tags to fill out and attach to our carry-ons - each carry-on must have ID on it.
