Tanning my style too!!!:rotfl:

I shall join you in a couple of glasses tonight and look forward to the laughs and photos.

DH is very proud of the effort, he wants to know how your DH got you to take the train? It would have been him....

i volunteered as I didnt want to listen to the tutting , sighing or general angst.....also I know that a good deed then gives me mega brownie points for later:rotfl:ie: DLR in febpirate:

I have 2600 photos to trawl thru, so will start my photo essay this evening after a glass or 2 of amazing Australian wine ...

the key points i will focus on are
food (duh!)
accom
travel and frequent flyer stuff
food
cocktails
awkward people shots
foot shots
shopping hauls
food
oh and maybe a few disney pics here and there:rotfl2:

stay tunned for an amazing journey into my mind:upsidedow, be amazed, be astounded...be there!:badpc::badpc:

OMG what the hell did you buy over there young lady? That is alot of luggage ::yes::. Can't wait to see your photos, is it embarrassing that it's the food shots I'm most looking forward to. :worship:

wait till you see the 2 mains i ordered every second night on the cruise... embarrassed, me???? never!!!! I'm an ANZAC disser, we don't know the meaning of the word:rotfl:

I'm really looking forward to reading your photo essay. If it's half as entertaining as the last one (ie clown car) it'll be a hoot!

Oh and I'm going to have myself some lovely Aussie wine too :)

how can we top the clown car story.....

ok... maybe the one about my parcels that keep going back to Memphis.....or maybe random people coming up to me and asking me about my hair,or wanting to touch/ rub it....... or TSA agents mocking librarians and saying I didn't look like one (really???? no really??)...or new yorkers asking us if the tree of life @ AK was real....or maybe the guy who called me English and learnt a valuable and painful lesson not to make that mistake again.....or that Austria isn't Australia...or that a Hyundai in any language means crap regardless of the colour... that maybe 6 bags may be a tad too much for 2 people to lug around......OK, I think I have a few stories..........:surfweb:

Now after 22 yrs of marriage I have learnt that sometimes being a martyr for an hour can make you a queen for a year.......

so he feels so thankful i didn't put him on the train of doom that I am getting Queen, not princess, treatment.......but this is our little secret, he thinks it was because I love him:rotfl:

silly man:rolleyes1

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::laughing:

:worship: There is still so much to learn

I second the food pics! And instead of shopping hauls, my tired Grade 1 focussed mind read it as shopping hulas!

We had 4 suitcases, 3 soft gear bags plus 4 back packs and 2 cabin bags on our last trip home and spent a week before coming home doing the luggage jenga thing in the boot and backseat of the hired Jeep Laredo :rotfl: That's still nothing on the 6 suitcases for 2 people though. Now people might understand why DH is insisting on 2 cases only - no luggage jenga! I said we'll just hire a bigger car instead :littleangel:

something like this??????

luggage jenga, love it....I do more of a throw it in and then sit on it until the door/ hatch closes.....pirate:

its so nice to be appreciated by ones own kind...... group hug thingy......followed by awkward standing around in the corner checking out the hosts pathetic reading habits........

oh, look at the time, i really need to go as I have to take my dog to grooming/dialysis/salsa dancing classes......thanks for a wonderful evening, I'll call you.......yes, you take care too.......bye ((((((())))))))))))

Our first TSA agent at LAX asked me about the food I was declaring, "is it Lollies or is it candy?"
Smarty pants much?

We also got asked a few times if we were English, pretty sure the English wouldn't like to think us ockers talk like them ;)

Austria does not = Australia, another misconception around the world it seems, when we told a lady we were from Australia she said "oh Austria, I've never been there"

;) @ Hyundai, we hired a Santa Fe 4 cylinder, no guts!
