Australian Disneyland 10-day park tickets

I have purchased the 10 day tickets for our trip in December. We didn’t go through Flight Centre. We used another travel agent. The tickets were significantly cheaper than us buying the five days pass... we did get last years rates locked in when we purchased them. They are issued by Qantas travel. If you are staying at a Disney hotel you can redeem them at check in, which is what we will be doing.

I've not bought it before, but have researched it. Check the Qantas Holidays price (brochure here) and make sure you don't pay more than that.

Depending on where you are staying and the discounts they give, as well as how much you plan to spend on food and merchandise, it may be worthwhile having one person in your group get an Annual Pass. We went a few years ago for an extended trip and it was the better option (though the dollar has gotten worse and AP prices have gone up since then).
Do you know the contact number that I could use to discuss those ticket options in more detail?

Thanks Guys. Only have myself to blame though for not doing my proper research beforehand.

Did you buy it separately or as part of a package with GCH? If part of a package with GCH, see if you can drop the tickets portion and change to a room only.

Seperately... The stupidity continues lol

I'm resigned to the fact now that we'll need to fork out if we want another day or two in the parks.

Relax at the pool, it's fun! Maybe a pool day halfway through the trip?

Thanks for the tip! I really want to be in the parks in the 17th (opening of ROTR) and the 16th (my sons 5th bday). Happy to be flexible on everything else.

Won't it be too cold to swim in January (not that it would stop my kids, mind).

Depends on how cold you are used to. Me, California born and all, probably. Someone who grew up in the Midwest...nah.

Has anyone used the Australian 10 day discount pass? Do you know if they check residency at the gates, Disneyland CA? Am I able to collect the passes for my nephews without their ID?

I was quoted $700 AUD today.

I'm trying to find out if I can collect all the tickets for my family with my residency ID or do I need to show theirs? Can anyone confirm?

Yes, to get our actual park tickets we just exchanged the voucher at the hotel. Process-wise it was just like buying regular tickets but it was prepaid with the voucher, and we got 10 days instead of 5.

Hi Disney Rose, did they check everyone's IDs?

I was told by our travel agent that we would all need to show proof of residency but I cannot confirm as we don’t travel until December.

I just looked at the voucher and it says the following ..

Photo identification will be required for issuance of all theme park tickets.

I'm pretty sure we had to show ID for all of us last time we exchanged our voucher for these tickets.

Also for any other Aussies looking at this thread there is a deal on Expedia now for buy 3 days get 1 free (proof of Aus residency required)

@Version 6 : maybe this will help you?

Bought my tickets through Expedia.com.au today!

AUD $439 for 4 day, 1 park per day adult ticket ($409 for childrens) ($1288 for 2 adults 1 child)

The dollar improved slightly yesterday so it actually saved me AUD $19 from when I was looking last week :) That's a drink at Ogas right?? :drinking:

Also I booked through the cashrewards app which had 7% cashback on activities at Expedia so I should get $90 cashback..
