Some of you may know I only recently (Sept.) moved to Australia from California. Now that I've settled in, I figured I'd share some photos I've taken since I've been here. I encourage everyone to visit this country, it's absolutely beautiful and the lifestyle here is just fantastic. Nevermind the cost of living is a bit expensive....

Wow - those photos look gorgeous! I love the Opera House in moonlight - my absolute favourite. I'm glad you are enjoying it here! Sydney is an expensive place to live (I thought so, anyway! ) - but the sights are worth it!!!
I look forward to seeing more - from other places, too!!

Lovely! I particularly liked the multicolored birds and the Harbour night shot. The color saturation on your last one was outstanding, too.

Thanks! Very little was done with the last one, I just used a Circular polarizer filter to bring out the blues etc.

Oh, I haven't been there since 2003. My parents are actually newcomers to Balmain - originally from Melbourne. Buggers have a view of the coat hanger from their balcony, so I don't suppose they're complaining!
