I'm looking for fun things to do in Austin for me and a group of friends aged 19-20. Any suggestions?

You'll love 6th street! Austin is the live music capital of the world, you can find a band playing almost anywhere. Have fun!

Find a river to go tubing on - we did the Comal in New Braunfels but I hear the Guadalupe is more the college age kids plus it has a faster flow with more rapids etc.

Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels is amazing

Yeah, we're planning on going to Schlitterbahn at some point this summer. Guess I gotta get a one-piece so I don't embarass myself by showing off the girls.

I'm bummed I missed SXSW. I wanted to go, but bf didn't. :/

Aalamo Drafthouse is somewhere I've always wanted to go. I can't believe I forgot about it!

Yep it was great to finally see what Ain't It Cool News is always talking about. I got the Royale with Cheese and a 5 dollar milkshake.

I really did enjoy seeing the bats at the Congress bridge. They swarm out from under the bridge for over 15 minutes at sunset and it's worth spending a bit of time there to see them.

Walk along South Congress (SoCo). Funky shops, fun places to eat, live music going on. Definitely has the "weird" Austin feel to it.
