Just enjoy and have a great time. Which resort did you buy into? Have you stayed in DVC ?

We own at SSR.

And are looking forward to DVC Hawaii which will open in 2011 so we will add on there.

We bought at Animal kingdom.
Have been to WDW 3 times , includng 3 weeks ago when we signed.
Is it hard to visit other locations other than your home resort??
Am trying to convince my father to invest in Hawaii when it comes up.
Am a bit confused at the moment after skimming round the boards as to what is the norm and so on

No its not hard at all. We will be staying at AK, OKW & SSR for our trip in Sept. WE are going over with the whole family 12 in total. So we are going to need to get some points transfered from an other member when we start booking next month.

Hawaii will be fantastic, I too am trying to get my mum and dad to get into it when it opens.

It can be very confusing but it always helps to ask questions and everyone here is very helpfull.

Well heres my first question, how do you get thepictures of your home resort and the tickers etc. a the bottom of your posts???

I made mine but you can just copy the properties of the one you like from any post and paste it into the signature section in the user cp.

Count me in too. I am an Aussie and I am a DVC member. I am from Melbourne but now live in Toronto, Canada (a little closer to the mouse).
Now if I could only find chicken twisties in Adventureland to go with my Dole Whip, ahhh that would be heavenly

Welcome to all the Aussie's We've made the trip three times in recent years and I think our trip was 22 hours from Boston (I assume Orlando isn't much less time wise), although one was 24 hours due to layover... Now we spend a few days in Hawaii on our way, we'll be doing that again next year... I will also be glad when DVC opens Hawaii..... When we come over to AU, we spend 3-4 weeks...

As for changing your resort, it's a fairly easy process if you plan far in advance at 7 months, and you can always waitlist if your desired resort is not available.
