Aussie Disneyland Planners come on in and lets plan together :)

I still haven't got one of those electrical plug converter thingys. I am hoping I am going to be able to buy one at the airport because no chance of me having time to get one between now and Friday :confused3
xxxx

I've seen these at a different Woolworths through out Sydney in the electrical section. A lot cheaper than the airport and you'll know that you have them.

We took an Aussie 6 plug multi board and an adaptor, plugged the adaptor into the wall then the multi board into that, it worked perfectly for charging all the phones/laptops/cameras etc because they are dual voltage but I wouldnt use it for anything that wasnt able to cope with the 11volts.
Much easier than trying to juggle all the different things to charge in one or two plugs!

Have fun all of you who are going in the next few days

have a great trip to everyone going soon. Very excited for you. I am sure you will have a blast. The dollar is really looking after you, its nearly 92c, so you can do some more shopping. :thumbsup2

That's an awesome idea. It's very difficult to charge a phone, camera, and video camera with just one plug during one night.

We have had the Hey Hey and Midget races wrath and now this...

I have just printed off various vouchers for cheap meals, discounts a different places. I am now sitting here wondering if I have printed off enough. I think I have 4 copies of all vouchers. (I think that should be enough :confused3!)

Quick Question re the 14 day pass.

Just went to a FC to ask about it and price matching Expedia and the price match was fine but she said that the voucher had to be redeemed within 60 days.
Is this what you were told as well??? Just wondering.

It doesn't really matter....we can just get it in a few weeks. But I was just wanting to check if this was what you were also told.
I just want to get a few things locked in with the dollar where it is....our last trip was booked when the dollar was in the 80s.....we went in February 09...need I say more...

WE got ours from expedia and they didn't mention that. I think we were in the 60 day time frame though.

When we bought annual passes it had to be used before we got there but there wasn't a problem when we took them in.

.

Yes we were told that too but it didnt bother us cause we only bought it a week before we left.

Dont forget that Expedia's price will change daily with the rate changes - so make sure you check daily :goodvibes

Nope they didn't tell me that at FC. Although I am trying to think if I bought them less than 60 days out hmmmmmmmmmm.... yeah I think I must have bought them less than 60 days ago, but only just!!!

Hi - have not read this whole thread, but was wondering if anyone from Australia ever received the DVD from Disney - or their emails - or have ever received a code?

I requested a DVD in May, and never received one, have also requested newsletters but have never received those either.

WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to LA tomorrow. Won't get to Disneyworld until Monday, when we will be having breakfast with Mickey.

Kids are very excited and will not go to bed.

I thought I was organised but of course am still doing all the last minute stuff.

I have received the cruise DVD, which I had to beg for. I have received 2 vacation planning DVD's which I requested from the disney site with the .au at the end. The main Disney site would not send it.

I get the occasional newsletter, but never a code.

We received the DVD recently, think it took a while to arrive though, but a few years back we ended up finding a copy on ebay from a US seller so that can be worth a try.

I got a DVD from the US Disney website because I got it sent to a friend and THEN to me....(the US site will not send it to you).
When I signed up to DO that I used her mail address but my email address so I do get email offers about once a month.

Getting the DVD from the .au site is no worries....but not as good. The website itself is largely useless as well as the emails.

Getting the cruise one would be nice but the Samantha Brown special on the Disney Cruise Line was pretty informative. (travel and living channel)
