The remenants of Ivan are heading through central VA and tornados are popping up.

We moved the birds down to the basement and we have a dog under each arm ready to head downstairs if needed. Right now there is one 10 miles away!

We were without power for about 5 hours due to Ivan. One of the school systems closed early. We had tornado warnings and it is in effect until midnight.

Stay safe. It did go through fairly quickly.

This is crazy, I don't remember anything like this in Virginia before. It's one tornado after another! The National Weather Service in Sterling, VA has confirmed several tornados on the ground in various areas of VA. at this very moment! Yikes!

We are keeping our eyes to the skies!
