Aulani's Point Charts Due 7/1/2010

:cool1: :dance3: :cool1: Woo whoo!

I can't wait to see the point charts. Hopefully we will be able to stay at Aulani and get a reservation at the 7 month mark. I doubt we will buy there as I can't see us vacationing in Hawaii every two or three years.

:thumbsup2 That corresponds to what I was told at DL a couple of weeks ago - that the charts were essentially done and would be released soon. Aulani is apparently way ahead of schedule.

Now I hope the rest I was told is correct!!

A secret. ;)

Actually, it was vague enough that I don't know exactly in what way - just that costs will be lower there. Maybe initial buy in but I doubt that. Maybe dues or maybe just points required. Still - I liked the words lower cost.

I think I'd prefer to live in denial a bit longer. I have a feeling if they follow in GCV they will be super high. Especially in the summer when we would likely visit due to the need to be out there longer than a week. Maybe we can combine a DVC visit with an extra week on Kauai, Maui or the Big Island.

Hearing the phrase "Lower cost" is almost as good as hearing "Welcome Home." I'm optimistic that Aulani's MFs will be less than $5.00/point, making it lower than VWL, BCV, and BWV. Aulani will be the third largest DVC resort and its total point base will probably exceed 10 million points. Although Aulani's operating budget might be relatively high, its MFs will be spread over a huge number of points.

So, I'm guessing Aulani's MF will be about $4.95/point. I also guessing that Aulani will start at $125/point and there will only be three seasons.

Just snagged 5 roundtrip tickets from LAX to HNL at $261 including taxes per person for July 4th weekend (not to visit Aulani--pure coincidence, seriously) :rotfl:

Trying to see if I can "arrange" for us to go to a cheesy luau in Kapolei so I can do a quick drive by/photo taking op of Aulani and progress there....:goodvibes

Will post pics if I get to do so ;)

Oh yea, and now that I'm trying to find last minute hotel deals, I sure wish Aulani was already built!

Edit: Duh, just read DVC news. Sales center at Ko'Olina, cheesy luau here I come!

Any guesses on how many errors there will be in the charts (remember BLT)

WOW! You got some great deals on airfare!!! :woohoo: What airline is this through? Not that I can go, though...I only have the wknd off. :( Now, if I had at least 4 nights, I am so there. lol

Hooray! Hooray! :cool1:
Cant wait to see what the points are like.......to make it worth our while we would want to stay two weeks, so hopefully they won't be as high as BLT.
Debsx:hug:

How exciting, can't wait until July 1st! We just bought into DVC so I can't imagine buying any more points right now. However we have friends who own a timeshare in Maui and they go every two years during Easter and absolutely love it!! Gives me somehting to think about anyway ;)
