Aulani: Which villas had a disappointing Ocean View?

I have heard folks on here say they had an OV villa that was really more of a partial OV. I thought it would be a good idea to post those room #s... A list of potentially problematic rooms would be good to have at check in. At least then you could ask if another room is available...and if not, you'll be prepared when you get to the villa.

In my opinion, they are ALL more like "partial ocean view" except for the Grand Villas. It's just the way the place is laid out. All of the OV rooms are set far back from the water, so your primary view is of the pool area and secondarily, in the background, of the ocean.

Some are definitely worse than others. Far back in the building next to the Marriott, for sure. Someone posted a picture of that view and you really had to crane to the left to see any ocean. It mostly overlooked the Marriott. I can't find that post now. Too bad nobody seems to have a map of the DVC villas and where they are.

Many of those that overlook the pool have a pretty good view, actually.
