Aulani Vacation Suprise - Epic Fail

Okay, so maybe it's not an EPIC fail, but....

I wanted to go to Aulani for spring break and keep it a surprise. (We live in Honolulu so it's just a drive across the island). My husband saw the deposit charge on our card and the thank you gift card we received from Dreams Unlimited travel agency, but claims I never told him any more details. Now he can't get the time off work. Sigh.

Good news is that the children still don't know and I was able to change our reservations for the weekend after school gets out.

So I have a new ticker and a longer wait, but at least we can still go.

Guess I wasn't clear that my original reservation was for 3/16.... so instead of 5 days, we have to wait 85.

Sorry this happened to you! At least you were able to change it and you are still going. I feel your pain. We live in Boston and had planned to go to Costa Rica last month. We had a blizzard that cancelled our flight and our whole trip. Boo hoo! It was all non-refundable, but luckily I had travel insurance, so we were able to make a claim and we have re-planned our trip for Thanksgiving week. It is so hard to start the clock over again and wait for so long, but I know the time will end up passing quicker than I think. Hang in there!
