Hi all,

DW and I have a trip coming up soon, and we're trying to figure out what the best way to get from the resort to the airport is when we leave. I've read the forums and it seems like the 2 options are the speedishuttle ($38), and getting a taxi ($55). Wondering if you all have any experience with those, pro's? cons? or any other options I might have missed?

Thanks!

We used SpeddiShuttle round trip from Airport to Aulani. It was very easy. We had a private car take us to the resort vs. a shuttle bus which was nice.
There were only 3 of us so it was more cost effective to use them vs. a cab. If you have more than 3, a cab is the cheaper alternative.

I also used speedyshuttle and was very pleased with the service. Easy to find at the airport, very efficient and well run operation. I was travleing alone so it was much cheaper than a cab. I'd most certianly use them again!

Speedyshuttle. You book ahead of time and you are done. It was really easy and the shuttle was clean. Cheaper if you book beforehand and roundtrip.

I'm still trying to weigh the difference between using a shuttle service vs. renting a car for our five-day visit. I have a Priceline reservation for $250 mid-size SUV (have a convertible ressie too just in case) and plan to spend a full day sightseeing around the island. I've figured with the roundtrip shuttle cost plus the cost of a single-day rental at Aulani that the price difference is fairly negligible so I'm coming down on doing the rental vs. a shuttle. Should I reconsider?

We had a 7-day stay at Aulani. We ended up renting a full size sedan through costco travel for $185. This gave us the freedom to explore the island as well as go out for dinner at night. Most of the food spots in Aualni closes early, not leaving many options at night.
