Aulani studio vs hotel room

Has anyone ever used points for a hotel room at Aulani vs a studio. The hotel room are slightly bigger (382 sf vs 356sf) and they are less points per night. Just wondering what other differences there may be?

Studio has kitchen area but for us it wasn't needed

Are they double beds in the hotel room or queen beds? there is a big difference, and hoping they are queens.

That's what I thought, it says 2 queen beds. Actually hoping for a King, but reservation says that is not guaranteed.

A major difference to be aware of is that hotel rooms are usually gone for multiple days per week before 7 months out; similar also applies to standard studios although not quite as bad.

Hotel rooms in dvc inventory are two queen beds on the 5th floor of the waianae wing. They did put in a microwave now but there is no kitchenette with sink like the studio villas,
The hotel studios book up first because tnere are only 8 units and the cheapest points cost per night at Aulani.
