If we have friends at the Marriott next door, will we be able to give them a "tour" of the grounds. If they accidentally fall into the pool and end up swimming for a bit is it an issue. What if they have one of our room keys? Can they do the restaurants there as well.

They can tour the grounds and eat at the restaurants, but you need to obtain a wristband for the pool area, a room key alone is not sufficient. They can accidentally fall in the pool, but not sure if they make people leave the premises if discovered.

Have you reached the maximum capacity of the number of people you are allowed to have in whatever room category you have booked? If not, why don't you just add their names to the room reservation so they can get wristbands? :-)

We have a friend in Honolulu. We have been to Aulani three times and are going again in April. We always get a one bedroom which sleeps five but we only have four people so we always put him on our reservation so when he visits us he can use the pool with us, get his own room key when he visits and park his car for free. The first year we had a two bedroom which sleeps 9. We added both he and his wife for the same reasons. Worked out great.
