So what does Disney require in order to get the $100 for the presentation at Aulani? My mom and I are going for a week, and I would love to get a free $100 to spend.

That's so interesting. I never heard of Disney Vacation Club giving anything away before. I guess since this resort isn't connected to a theme park they had to be creative. To answer your question call the resort and ask for the vacation club desk. I went on an owners tour lady year. They have everything ready if you want to tour. If you're a member you cannot tour during the day. I think the first member tour is 5pm.

I would prolly just have mom go, and join her... but not sure if she can technically without her husband (who by the way is handicapped via a stroke, so not like it would help anyway). Although, if they let me for another $100, I would definitely spend the time!

My husband went yesterday and they didn't give him anything. He went back today to ask about the GC and at first they refused because I didn't go with him. He talked with a mgr and after he told them I went during a cruise, they gave him the GC.

We were told you had to bring the little card with the offer on it that's in the hotel rooms. We were renting DVC points at the time and weren't able to get the GC. We met a woman in the hallway that told us she got one, I assume she was staying in the hotel side.

hmm guess we will have to wait til we get there then to find out. Mom isnt a member.

Would bring the card for 'insurance' - usually sitting on the table but sometimes they'll give one at the preview centers. We've never had any luck getting anything from the walk-by booths. Disney's been giving people GC for the last 5 years - but you have to commit 90 minutes of your vacation time.

{Begin Mock Rant}. What? I can't get this offer if I'm already a member? How dare they! I went on that tour already and as one if their best customers I deserve to be given a GC just for showing up to the hotel. Bunch of cheap $#\%&@€£¥# how dare they!!! That's it... I'm selling this timeshare so I can get the GC... The nerve of some companies....they clearly don't care about us. {End Mock Rant}
