You need to check every listing that comes on the market. Check what dues are notated at, and check the notes. Keep an eye out for Feb, March and Dec those are common but other UY can also be SUB. If it asking over $100pp it *could* be a sub. Some are not always advertised as a sub, if due seem off message the broker and ask what the dues are.

I don't think Dec is very common...

AFAIK, there have been 2 for sale in at least the last 8 months. Only 1 was a 'normal' amount of points (160pts), the other was 655pts.

Is it hard to get a 7 month booking in a 2 bedroom towards the end of June before the points jump back to peak season? Would prefer an Ocean View but do not know enough about the various 2 bedroom categories to know how quickly they book.

A huge bargain! I love seeing the balance of my contracts get reduced each time I stay. I will have a break even in just a couple years.

DVC is so much more valuable compared to cash in villas….

I still can't believe I've paid cash twice for Aulani stays before I considered buying DVC. I try not to think of the lost money there when I could have paid for at least half of a decent resale contract.

I can relate to that feeling. We've been visiting WDW since 2015 and we took the plunge last year...

It goes for all DVC rooms at Aulani. It’s a very popular time for owners to book because off the low point chart during the summer out of school season.

2BDs are hard because they have 3 bathrooms bd a 1bd only having one.

Ocean view would be the easiest of the categories.

Also how warm is it in July? We've never been to Hawaii and wanted to go in June but don't think we'll be able to get a week at 7 months in June.

It is going to be hard to get 7 consecutive nights in any room category at 7m when kids are out of school.

1 bedroom will be the easiest of the options.

Okay, thanks. We are willing to change views/rooms if needed so hopefully I can put together a decent length of stay there. We already plan on staying at another resort on the island before or after Aulani so I could always add nights to that if needed.
