I just returned from a week in Oahu with 2 nights spent at aulani. If anyone has any questions for an upcoming trip is be happy to answer anything I can....

Lucky you! Was two nights enough? Did you spend your other days at other hotels around the island, and if so do you recommend your plan?

Hope you had a nice trip. We were just there just over a week ago for a week (left on the 4th) and absolutely loved it. Still thinking of my time there. :)

Aloha! We crossed paths, I'm sure! We were there 8/26-9/2 and I have been dreaming of Oahu ever since!

I absolutely loved every second of it. Two nights was not enough. I think you could stay a week and not be bored, however if you only have the opportunity to go for 2 nights I wouldn't pass it up. We stayed 3 nights before aulani in at the hale koa in Waikiki. If you're planning visiting and exploring the island I would do that first (possibly with a different hotel other than aulani) and save aulani for the end. See what you want to see in Oahu and then go to aulani. Once we were there we never left the resort. I knew our time was limited so I wanted to get the most out of our stay there.

I got an email mentioning the below but cant find any information on some special things they were doing starting this month. Did you see anything about these below?
- Member Maka'ika'i: Art & Nature Walking Tour of Aulani
- Laniwai - A Disney Spa
- PhotoPass Scavenger Hunt
- Culinary Magic

Mahalo!

Did you get a chance to see the Starlit Hui? What did you think? Is is still being down twice a week? And what nights? I was wondering if the scheduled changed after Labor Day.

We were there the week of Labour until the Thursday after Labour Day and it was on Monday and Thursday while we were there. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see it since it was cancelled on the Monday due to the air quality due to a wild fire. On the Thursdays, the first one we checked in at 10 PM and then the second we left at 7PM for our flight.

Thank you for answering. I was wondering the same thing.

If anyone has a recent timetable, can they also please share what nights and times they had the movie on the lawn.

We did not get to see the starlit hui. It was going on the day day we left (Tuesday). I was really bummed because I had planned on seeing it. On oahu we went to Hanauma bay, halona blowhole, bellows and lanikai beach, Haleiwa, turtle beach and did the 10 mile tantalus drive. I would say a rental car is a must for at least part of your stay so you can see the island

And there is a photopass scavenger hunt, if you hit all 8 locations you get a free 8x10. I didn't hear about it until I was leaving so we only got a 5x7 because we missed 2 locations.

When we were there , it was on scheduled for Friday and Tuesday evening at 7:30pm.
