Aulani- Mahalo Member Mingle

I have read this takes place Monday mornings at 8- is this still true? Is this similar to the Member gatherings on DCL- you get a prize and listen to an update about DVC? Does anyone have any feedback? We enjoy the ones on DCL- even if we have never won! But- we will have our 3 and 4 year olds with us and we have plans to go to the tidepools that day. If we skip the Mingle, we can get there closer to low tide (7AM-ish that day). High tide is at like 3:00PM. If we go to the Mingle, we would be there closer to 10ish.

When we were at Aulani in October 2014, the Mahalo Member Mingle was held on Monday at 8:00 AM. You can sign up for the Mingle at the DVC Preview Center which is just off the lobby on the Waianae side of the resort.

The Mingle is a bit different than the ones we have attended at WDW or DCL. It emphasizes things about Hawaii more so than Disney, like explaining the significance of the lei in Hawaiian culture. Its an extremely low-keyed sales event.
