Aulani - Live Report!!

Well we arrived yesterday late afternon and we were all a little too mean to post

It was a LONG day and a LONG flight.

Got in, checked in, some of us went right to out rooms but Kevin and I had to wait for our room to be ready. This was totally our fault. Our original room was ready but Kevin threw his back out a few days ago and was in agony by the end of the day. We asked to be moved to a room with a shower but no tub as there would be no way he could get in an out on his own.

While we waited we grabbed a snack in The 'Olelo Room. We had sashimi, a poke salad, some beef siders and a spring roll. All very good but don't expect an official review on this particular meal - we were too tired to really appreciate it.

After a little more waiting our room was ready.

We unpacked, checked email, said we were NOT going to fall asleep and then fell asleep at about 8:30PM local time.

We are up bright and early and meeting the gang to go to breakfast. But first I though I would share a picture of the view from our room this morning.

It's 3:10 pm here so that means it's 9:10 am there. Kevin just spend the day in the hot tub and take lots of tylenol (a massage may also be in order). Enjoy the beauty of Hawaii.
