My family is planning a trip to Hawaii in July which will include 2 nights at Aulani. Is it less crowded on the weekdays? If so, we’ll try to move around our schedule to make it work. Thanks!!

We went last June and the resort was sold out the whole time we were there. So to answer your question "No" there isnt a drop in Aulani guests during the week vs Weekend.
Tips
(1) Go to the ABC market across the street for food and goods you may need. There are also several restaurants but the mexican one is the best. Amazing Margaritas!!
(2) Do the DVC Mixology class if you have a blue card. It was like $50 per person but we had the best time.
(3) Do DVC Aulani conference season with other members. Think these are only on Mondays. Got a free DVC hat.
(4) Increase the length of your stay. We did a couple nights at other locations but it wasnt like the Aulani... Honolulu area wasnt our cup of tea...

Aulani lacks a reason for crowd differences between weekdays and weekends. The nightly point costs are the same for both the weekdays and weekends.

Our stay was at a less busy time (October) but it was much more crowded at the weekends. It was very noticeable at the pools and the restaurants.
I notice that you’re also on the Aulani forum on here, and as people mention on there many locals will visit just for the weekend.
