Aulani...is it just a DVC?

Sounds like most visitors are DVC members...is this open to anyone?
I am just starting research on Aulani and I'm completely overwhelmed...lol.

Where is the best place to start making decisions on rooms, packages,....ahh!!!

Aulani is a mixed use resort that contains both Hotel Rooms and DVC Rooms.

Since it's both you have the option to book direct thru Disney CRO or to rent from a DVC member.

I am not a DVC member and we went to Aulani at the end of August. I booked a package through the airline. We stayed in a studio.

IMO, I would start with the link the PP gave you to see about booking it directly through Disney to see how that prices out. After that I would consider a rental with a DVC member or use a broker. Depending on direct discounts being offered at the time of year you plan to travel a rental may be the way to go.

As another poster stated he was able to book using a package with an Airline. I guess you could also use a travel agent too.
