Does anyone know what the incentive are for adding-on at Aulani?

I missed the open house at GCV last week and put a call in to my guide but waiting to hear from him...:surfweb:

It's $114 per point (base price).

There are $6, $8, and $10 price discount based on the number of points you add on. The first 600 members who buy 160 points or more will be founding members with their name on a plaque at the resort.

There was an additional incentive for people who attended the GCV event. They offered an additional $2 per point discount or waived 2012 Member Fees.

Opening for members 8/29/11. There are some good Aulani threads over in DVC Mousellanious.

From over at DVCnews.com

Base price: $114 per point
Incentives

25-49 points: No discount
50-99 points: $6 discont
100-124 points: $8 discount
125-249 points: $10 discount
250+ points: $12 discount

The base price is set to increase to $120 per point in November. This initial pricing is rumored to be the lowest direct pricing DVC will offer for Aulani.

The first 600 indivdiuals to purchase 160 points or more will be designated Founding Members. Founding Members will be acknowledged with an engraved plaque at the resort and a personal keepsake for home.

Buyers will also have the option of purchasing a Guaranteed week. A Guaranteed week purchase will lock-in a specific vacation week and villa type for the duration of the Aulani ownership period. Owners will have the ability to opt-out of their Guaranteed week and use the representative number of points for any other Disney Vacation Club resort or exchange destination. Guaranteed week purchases are priced 10% higher than rates noted above. No more than 35% of all villas will be sold as Guaranteed weeks for any given use day.

2011 dues will be $4.31 per point

Hawai'i timeshare stays are subject to a Transient Accommodations Tax which will be collected at the time of the stay. The tax rate is currently one half of the annual dues rate times 9.25%. Based upon the stated dues rate for 2011, the tax rate for that year will be $.1993 per point. The TAT is payable by the individual occupying the room (member, guest, renter, etc.) and therefore will not be included in DVC member dues collections. (Thanks to "wdrl" from the DIS for researching tax calculation.)

Aulani Phase I is scheduled to open August 29, 2011

Owners can begin making reservations September 29, 2010 and all other DVC members on January 29, 2011 subject to the normal 11/7 month booking restrictions.

To add to this, I was told that the $2 per point extra or MFs waived for those who attended the GCV event was for 160 points and above.

There were very few incentives at the member event. They had really good ones for the AKV, BLT and VGC member events so I was disappointed in these ones based on what what they offered in the past.
