Aulani in October at 7 months ?

Hi Dis Friends! We have never booked beyond Disney World, but are thinking about possibly booking Aulani for end of October 2024 at the 7 month mark( not our home resort.) What do you all think are our chances of getting a reservation? we would probably be looking at a studio type accommodation. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

So long as you're not crossing Columbus Day, yoou have very good chances at one of the Garden Views or Ocean View. Standard is not common at 7 months all year.

I will mention that due to the cost of food in Hawaii, the 1BR is a very good deal for the points.

Thank you! no, it would be toward end of month , so not Columbus day. As far as food yes, I heard food is very expensive, but we are actually thinking of gifting points to a family member to take this trip(at least 5 nights) and can't quite afford to give enough points for a one bedroom sadly.
