Aulani Excursions

Did you use Pleasant Activities or go on your own? If you did Pleasant Activities, did you have a favorite? Specifically, we are looking at whale watching and Kualoa Ranch Experience.

Except for a Sunset Catamaran cruise which we booked through the resort, we did everything else on our. My DSIL did several activities through Aulani's travel company and thought it was worth the extra dollars. She did not do either of the excursions you are asking about though.

My sister booked a wonderful excursion direct from Aulani. I think it was referred to as an Adventure by Disney. It was a boat ride, beach barbecue, visit to an area to see turtles along the beach and a 2 hour horseback ride. She and her DH loved the whole experience. She especially referred to enjoying the stories about the areas they were in.
