Aulani discussions?

I'm probably posting this in the wrong place, but since there has been a lot of discussion about it on the podcast --- I'd like to know where here on the disboards I can discuss planning my trip to Aulani. I have so many questions and would love to bounce ideas off of people

Is there a way that an Aulani board could be set up outside of DVC? Most of the DVC discussions apply to DVC type issues. I do an Aulani search at least twice a week and most are in the DVC section. As someone planning a hotel stay to Aulani most of the discussions haven't really been applicable to me. It might open up the discussion more to have a Hawaii/Aulani board.

I agree. It is hard to find Aulani information here. And Aulani is not only a DVC resort (though we are members). The travel necessities and the idiosyncracies of Hawaii travel can be confusing. We are regular Maui travelers but will be heading to Honolulu in January and are finding travel plans there are quite different (car rentals, traffic, and so on.).
If there were to be a single Aulani subtopic on the forums, it would be helpful.
By the way, we have found that cars are necessary if going to Aulani though we will spend time at the Royal Hawaiian, too. And Alamo right now has the best rates for our trip.
