Aulani crowds mid to late August

Has anyone been there at that time frame? We have the opportunity to go to Hawaii next year. It would be good not to have to take the kids out of school but if the crowds at Aulani and Hawaii in general are high then we will just go in the fall and take them out of school. Thanks.

June-Mid August is considered Peak Season. In regards to crowds i mean it's not unbearable or anything like that. Pool Chairs are going to get filled, regardless of time of year. However it's better to go during Peak season, when pool hours run late. For example lazy river will operate until 8pm. I think the only thing how crowds could effect your stay at Aulani would be dining reservations, group activities and Aunty's Beach HOuse.

The good thing is that Hawaii is in school from the first week of August, so there won't be the local summer crowd.
