Aulani Christmas at 7 month window

Not sure if anyone has experience but I wonder how hard it would be to book a 1BR ocean view for Christmas week 7 months out?

I have 300 points there but would want a 2 week stay, so I won’t have enough

I know 1BR and ocean view are one of the last to go but wondered what availability would realistically be like ?

I bet a few days is possible, & maybe more with waitlist.

A split stay in different room types could help you get the whole week, if a different room/view is an option for you. 1 month out from my trip in August there was a bunch rooms released, not sure if this also happens in December but something to keep in mind. If you dont get exactly what you want initially if you waitlist or stalk you just may be able to modify into what you want last minute.

This is exactly what I booked for us at 7 months (1BR OV through Christmas). 2 weeks would be tough but maybe doable if you’re patient and diligent. I started out with 5 nights booked and then had to waitlist individual days, then as they filled I had MS merge them and then set up more individual day waitlists. I got up to 10 nights. The Christmas through New Year’s timeframe is what booked up before 7 months and I had to waitlist that day by day.

I probably have enough home points for 1 week (probably Xmas week) and then perhaps the week before with 7 month window.
