Aulani -- bug spray needed?

We leave next week... I cannot believe it! When you book right at the 7 mos window you really don't think your trip is ever going to arrive. lol

Hubby and I were purchasing some last minute tidbits we want to pack and then came onto the conversation of bugs... if someone is going to be attacked my mosquitoes it's usually me LOL

Just curious what's the bug situation on Oahu right now, should we bring from bug juice or are we wiser to wait and buy stuff on the island at Target or something.

I was looking at some stuff here and most of the bug sprays seemed to be for mosquitoes, black flies, chiggers... type of stuff you'd find in the forests here... not certain if there's a better formulation of bug spray to use in more tropical places.

Any advice appreciated.

We just got back from Aulani a week ago. Its funny, becauce when we were there my dw commented on the fact that there were no bugs at when we were there. You shouldn't need any bugspray. Also, for any other supplies Target is only a few minutes from the resort. We went there many timpes to pick up miscellaneuos items. Aulani is awesome. You will have a blast.
