Aulani - best time to visit?

We are new to DVC and are going to be planning our 20th anniversary trip to Aulani in 2023. We are looking at late April (avoiding golden week) or late January. Any opinions here on best time to go for low crowds or other considerations?

We always end up going in June because that’s just what works for us. This year we’ll be going late June for our 20th anniversary! The end of January won’t be busy, but you also risk some rainy/cold (for Hawaii) weather. It’s also during whale season, so that could be a bonus. I have heard good things about September and October as far as low crowds and great weather though if that timeframe might work for you.
