Hello! I called Aulani to ask about making reservations for Aunty's (my kids - DS-6, DD-8) for Chip & Dale's thing. From mostly positive reviews, sounds like a good event for my kids, they got SO EXCITED when they saw the photos some of you have posted of those little surfboards. It'll be worth the $79 or whatever it is when we go.
We're set to arrive Oct 6. As I've said, and has been mentioned, that is during Oahu's fall school break (SUCH POOR PLANNING on my part!), and the hotel is pretty booked solid.
Here's the question ... Aulani says I can and SHOULD book 4 months out for the premium services. I've marked my calendar for July 6 to call. So hard so make plans 4 months out when we've never been there :-(, but I want to make sure the kids don't miss it. Are the premium services only provided once a day?
And, next question, I understand Chip & Dale is a dinner event for the kids. We will arrive on a Tuesday ~4pm, and leave Saturday morning. Of a Wed/Thu/Fri night option of other activities around Aulani, does anyone have any advice for which night we should sign them up? The lady at Aulani just told me that Chip & Dale will most likely be available every night as it is a "very busy week that you are visiting" (I KNOW!).
Lastly, if we book them into Aunty's for a few hours, is it feasible for us to go across the street for dinner? Or, is it expected that you will say ON property? (sounds like Monkeypod/salad place are basically a 5min walk at most from the resort).
THANK YOU!!!
