Aulani and handicap accessibility ?

I am booking Aulani next week for my family, and taking my inlaws with us as their 40th anniversary present. My FIL will need to use a mobility scooter during the trip. He is okay walking short distances but not long ones.

Has anyone here used a scooter at Aulani? The pathways look narrow and since we will be there in December, I imagine the resort will be pretty full.

What about HA rooms? Any reports on them? I am hoping for a pool view but will splurge and get the OV if I need to. I know my FIL needs bars for the shower. We will be getting a 2 bedroom. Would a lock off or dedicated be easier, do you think?

I would love hearing anyone's experiences!

Okay, so I called the resort today and after a lot of looking by the CM, I got some information. I was able to get the floor and building for the HA rooms in service. These are all for 2 bedroom lock-offs. I was inquiring about villas with either accessible tubs (have bars) or with roll in showers. The CM was unable to verify which part of the unit was accessible, the studio or one bedroom. Hopefully folks who are staying there can verify these rooms and views. The CM also made a point to say that rooms in Wing D (Ewa building) have square balconies, while those in Wing A (Waianae building) have triangular balconies.

Standard View-
Wing D (Ewa building): one room with an accessible tub on the 5th floor, one room with a roll in shower, 5th floor.

Island View-
Wing D: one room with an accessible tub on the 8th floor, convention center view. One room with an accessible tub on the 11th floor, Diamond Head/Honolulu in the distance view.

Poolside Gardens View-
Wing A: one room with a roll in shower, 5th floor.
Wing D: one room with a roll in shower, 4th floor. One room with a roll in shower, 5th floor.

Ocean View-
Wing A: both roll in and accessible tub rooms on the 11th floor.

I'd love it if anyone could report back room numbers or which part was studio and one bedroom. I'll add any information to this post.
