Aulani Airfare

I posted about this on this forum a few months ago, but now I feel like it's time to buckle down and purchase. We already purchased air from JFK to LAX. Now we need flights from LAX to HNL on February 4 and from HNL to LAX on February 14. Any suggestions on websites to check? Can anyone help me find a good fare? Any help would be appreciated!

Please go back and read the advice you were given on the several threads you already started on the subject of buying airline tickets. There really isn't anything new to add to the advice you have already received.

No. We already have the JFK to LAX purchased. That is on January 31 and February 15. We just need LAX to HNL on February 4 and 14. I'm not always the best at finding good fares, so just thought I would ask the experts!

You just have to keep checking and troll all the websites. Consider signing up for airfare alerts. I don't know if it's Presidents Week for the dates you listed, but if so, airfares may be higher then because kids are out of school. We went to Aulani February 2014 during Presidents Week from SFO and lucked out on airfare. When I started looking, it was in the high $700's but ended up paying $391 per person. That was just by always searching and jumping on the price you're comfortable paying. Good Luck!

I know you already bought the LAX tickets, but you really would have done better buying open jaw tickets, which would have included your entire trip on one ticket. I did this exact thing in 2012, except we flew into PHX. Our ticket was EWR-PHX, LAX-HNL,HNL-EWR. It would have worked with flying into LAX rather than PHX. I think we paid just under 1000 a ticket which for summer travel wasn't bad. Now you're paying for two RT tickets instead of just one, which will cause the price to increase unnecessarily. You should look to see if you can book a multi-city itinerary with the carrier you have your tickets through and see if they'll change your tickets for you for a minimal fee. It probably would be your best bet. We flew United out of Newark.
