Aulani Accommodations Tax

Hi, not sure if this has been asked. Does anyone have any idea how much the "daily transient accommodations tax based upon the number of Vacation Points required for the stay and the per Vacation Point Annual Dues" is or will be?

My Hawaii plan is for next year, just wondering if anyone has a ballpark as to what the tax will cost? I'm so used to no paying a single thing when checking in or out of DVC resorts, that the fine print on the Aulani points chart has me wondering. Thanks in advance.

Hawaii did not change the rates used to calculate the amount for 2012.

It's located under Vacation Planning > Making Reservations.

There they say the 2012 rates will be available in late 2011. The state did their rate, but the amounts may change due to changes in annual dues which is part of the calculation.
