Aulani 1 br availability

I am just beginning to plan a trip to Aulani for sometime in August 2014. Do I have a good chance of a 1 bedroom at seven months out? The view doesn't matter to us.

I don't think that we will ever have a sense of what's going on at Aulani. We don't even know how their sales are doing and how many rooms are available for DVC bookings.

We had good luck booking right at 7 months for our August 2012 trip. It seems like in 2013 more folks were having difficulty trying to get June and early July.... and people were having better luck with August.

If you are online right at the crack of dawn when your 7 month window opens up it should be a better chance than for June... or say this coming Christmas time (which we were hoping to do, but airfare to Hawaii is crazy at Christmas time right now, so WDW it is).

We went in early June, 2013 and there were many reports of people having difficulty. We however were able to secure a 1 bedroom, pool view exactly at 7 months booking on line as soon as the window opened.

At the beginning of August availability is tight. At the end, it was wide open. Book right at your 7 month window and prepare to be flexible on room category.

Friends of mine just booked two weeks ago at Aulani for their son's honeymoon for the end of September and had no problem.

I was able to book an OV studio for THIS August (7th-14th) online right at the 7 month window. We were prepared to take either a higher view studio or a lower view 1 bedroom depending on availability. When I went online to book I grabbed the OV studio and then once I'd completed the reservation I went back in & checked the availability again. By 8:10 there was only scattered availability for the OV studios (not 7 consecutive nights - although the poolview was still open). I must've grabbed the last OV studio that was open for all 7 nights. There were also some higher views left on the 1 bedrooms but the standard & island views were gone (ie didn't have 7 consecutive nights open). Right now, everything for that week is booked up so you'll definitely need to book right on the dot and be flexible with what's open. I think you can get something - you'll just want to be flexible with what you can book.

We booked 1BR pool view at 7 month for early June at 7 am EST on first day of availability. No standard 1BR were available then. By mid morning, all 1 BR except oceanview were gone. No clue how availability will be next June, but I would book the first moment I could if going during summer or other busy times.

We booked a 1 bedroom standard view at 7AM on the 7-month mark. This was for early November 2013. October and November are generally slower times for Hawaii in general, but I am not sure about Aulani.
