AUL/BCV - First MM trip - Back to back trips 22 hours in flight.

To add to my traveling dangerously.. arrived at MCO at 3:20 for a 4:05 boarding. Spare time to get a smoothie 😎

Normally we fly here on Delta. We flew budget Breeze this time in/out of Terminal B. Much better terminal than Deltas terminal imo. Better food options, less people, not as chaotic.

We didn’t have any real complaints about BCV. I was afraid Id possibly wish I had boughten BC because of its location over BW, that wasn’t the case. The walk to Epcot didn’t feel way shorter than from BW imo.

I loved the Donald art on the murphy bed. 10/10. But I didn’t get the feels at BC like I did BW. I spend most of my time in the bathroom and bedroom, rarely in the main area or kitchen so I saw generic beach art most of our stay. At BW I saw Mickey and Minnie in every room which made me so happy anytime we were in the room. Overall BW just felt good. BC felt just average, it’s very possible I didn’t get the full feeling of it due to the construction. But then again, Im not really into the faux beach theme.

We stayed in room 420. I forgot to get a photo of the view, it was trees and I could see the Eiffel Tower. Our room was right next to the elevator which is very convenient. Although, I could hear the elevator all day and night, it wasn’t loud per se but I am pretty sensitive to sound. Our 1 bedroom layout was basically identical to BW I think.

I wish I could combine aspects of both resorts. SAB wasn’t close to the DVC villas, at BW the pool was very close. The area for drinks etc was in a much better location at BC than at BW. We eat a special diet and there isn’t really food for us at BW. BC club had many options which is a huge plus.

SAB. We thought we would love it more than any other pool. My son was so excited for the slide. He rode it only 2x because the walk was far and the line was always long. I did not like him leaving the pool area and crossing the walkway to get to it.. who decided that was a good idea?? He had an amazing time playing under the rope with the beach ball with other kids and he loved the trivia by the pool. So we didn’t dislike SAB by any means.

I found that the buses to BC had a much shorter line then than at BW when leaving MK which was great too.

All in all we didn’t dislike BC at all but we didn’t fall in love with it either, but thats okay. In order to buy a 2042 right now I had to fall head over heels for it, and I did at BW.

It's great that you have reinforced your love for BWV and now know you did not make a mistake by not buying BC! I agree they are both super close to Epcot, probably near enough that it is not a difference maker.

My trip to BWV is coming pretty soon so I'm looking forward to experiencing it.

Did you end up walking through Riv and taking the bus to MK from there?

You're not crazy. SS, BWV, BCV, and BRV are all the same basic layout with different theming applied!

Were you on the top floor of BCV? That's typically where guests hear the elevator the most 😥

Yes! We actually really like RIV a whole lot and decided to stay there in April, the 7 month window is opening soon so I hope I can snag a 1 bed.

We were on the 4th floor, when you make a left from the elevator it was the first room on the left so either right next to or right behind the elevator.

Oh yeah, and I got my sons opinions on SAB since he is the pool connoisseur. I asked how did you like the lazy river? He exclaimed it's not lazy it like 6 feet deep! He says this since he loves taking a slow stroll through Aulani's lazy river, I did point out walking through a lazy river is also not lazy.

I asked his opinion on slide he said it was very fun but hurt his back. My husband said it did not hurt his back. I dont do pool slides so I cant comment.

The room doors are nicer in BC than BW ( maybe that’s a guy thing to notice) , the refill station is right on the way to your room at BC ( way out of the way at BW )

Other than that they could be the same resort and I woke up at BC last time forgetting I was not at BW - post renovation they look very similar

Funny enough my son actually commented on the door to the entrance of the room.
