August Itinerary-Advise?

Hi! We are 2 families with 3 girls (16, 10, 10) & 3 Boys (13, 13, 5). One family will be in FL visiting family & check in Sat Aug 12. We are arriving on August 12-Actually 13th-LATE 12:15 am. We are on ME/Dining plan.

Here is our plan...Any input/advise would be appreciated:

Sun Aug 13
1 family EMH MK come back to Port Orleanes Riverside to rest.
1 family sleep in hang out at hotel
Evening-MGM-Brown Derby Fantasmic ADR 3:50 pm

Monday Aug 14
MK
ADR Crystal Palace 3:45 pm

Tuesday Aug 15
1 family Universal Studios
1 family MK

Wednesday Aug 16
AM-Epcot
Mid-day break-hotel
PM-AK
no ADR (Tuskers)

AM-MK-EMH Little Ones
Mid-day break around noon/1

ADR-Adults Chef France 5:00, Kids Restaurant Akershus 4:40

We just made this change so we do not have ADR at MGM but we do have Markershas at 7:00 (Epcot)

August 13- The EMH at MK are in the evening from 10pm-1 am. You can't do them in the morning, the family could go at 9- about lunch but they can't go to morning EMH as they aren't available.

Also with the opening of EE at Ak ius has become much higher in crowd levels your plan allows for only 1 afternoon and evening at AK. If you arrive after lunch you will probably not be able to get a FP so you will have to expect to spend at least an hour if not more in that one line. This park is really spread out. If you only plan on spending half a day here I would suggest a morning instead that way you could always stay later but if you miss something because of the crowds you would need another day to come back and AK is really out of the way for moving between it and anywhere else on Disney porperty except AK lodge.

As for your partial day it depends- do you have more tickets in shich case go back and enjoy your favorite rides at each park since you must have park hoppers going to more than 1 park in a day. If you don't have passes you could enjoy the hotel pool in the morning and then finish packing things up and head to DTD for shopping- have a great lunch for fairly inexpensive at Earl of Sandwich. If the boys are video game junkies and aren't the ones leaving that night I would suggest taking them to Disneyquest in DTD.
