Ok, those who are going in early August are now coming up on their 60 day PS's. We aren't going til mid August, but I still am eager to see hours and e-ride nights posted!!! Does anyone remember the time frame for hours posted from previous months?

i'm waiting too. hopefully they'll come out in june.

I spoke to CRO last night. We go last week in July and first 4 days of August he said August hours aren't out and the hours for July are changing. I said oh no!! I said you can't do this to me, I have my schedule all figured out you can't cut the hours now. He started laughing and said just wait and watch they won't be cut, they will be extending them! Wahoo!!!:bounce: :bounce:

I am impatiently awaiting th August hours for our mid-August trip.
I am dying to "finish" all my plans!

My countdown clock is slowly counting down to that 60 day mark. I hope to be able to snag a Cindy's ps but I've got PSB just in case. We really enjoyed it in November and I hope to be able to attend both. An e-ride night in mid-August would be great too!

ZerasPride-you sound like me.
I hoping to get a Cindy PS, but also booked Norway Princess breakfast just in case.
I am hoping for an e-night too, so we can extend our hours in MK!
Looking at last years e-nights they appear to be on Tuesdays and Fridays in August, hoping that's true for this year as well.
I am checking disneyworld.com every day:rolleyes:

another one keeping my fingers crossed for enight!!! every time we've gone since 2000, they've either been cancelled, or not scheduled in the first place. :( we really hope we get to try it this year. :)

Count me in as an expectant watcher of those August hours!!

I'm not going until the second half of August and really don't know how useful it will be to rely on old hours since things in recent months have been changing so much. In some ways, hearing that July hours changing and being extended sounds great. However, I can't help wondering if the new package has something to do with it and we're in for some really crowded parks this summer!

Oh August hours...where are you??????

Our first day in the park is August 2 and I'm trying to make all of our plans and PS's. It's really hard without know what the park hours will be, which nights, if any will be E-ride nights etc.

Oh please hurry and post those hours Disney!

Wellll, the operating hours for June came out the first week in May which would put the time frame at a little over 3 weeks in advance.

Yes, you read that right.

As for basing future hours on historical hours, the 6/19-6/23 2002 operating hours at the MK were 9AM-10PM. At MGM, the hours 9AM-10PM with 2 Fantasmics, and the hours at BB and TL were 9AM-7:30PM.

However, what a difference a year makes!

Also, the June and July hours came out at the same time on disneyworld.com.
I dont know how that effects when August hours come out.

We were there in late Aug 01 and MK had a 7:00 p.m closing time, MGM was 8:30 p.m. EPCOT 9:00 p.m. and if I remember correctly AK was an early 5:00 p.m. Wasn't fun, crowds everywhere.

If you check out the historical hours site, it looks like the third week in Aug is when they start closing earlier. Of course, that's when we'll be there!! I always plan my ps's figuring on the earlier closing times. Studios most always closes no earlier than 9 pm, AK at 5 pm. Epcot (more or less) at 6 pm. MK is the only one that is iffy. So, I figure it will be about 7-8 pm earliest. I make my dinner plans for MK days as late lunches, around 4ish. Sometimes, I don't make ps for MK. If they are open late, I grab something on the run. If they close earlier, I eat at the resort.
One thing I'm hoping will happen here....with the FT pkg bringing in more people this summer, hopefully the parks will remain open longer, especially for the third week. Here's hoping for an e-night or two also.

Third week of August makes sense - that is also historically when the parks get quiter as schools get back in session.

Thanks
