August!!! Here we go again!!! Double post please delete

Anyone else going in the end of August? We will be there 8-23 through 9-3. 2 days at us/ioa and then 3 days at pop and 6 days at POFQ. I can't wait!!! Hopefully no broken feet or hurricanes this year! I really wanted to go the week after thanksgiving but my son is in his junior year and is signed up for 2 advanced classes. i just couldnt justify taking him out.

So for those going in August are you worried about hurricanes? That is my only big fear as the experts are calling for a very active year again. See this link... http://www.impactweather.com/2005 Hurricane Season Outlook.pdf

We are thinking of going August 21st - 28th. I am a little scared about hurricanes, but I have really read great things about how Disney handles hurricanes.

Many people have written how they had to stay at their resort, but Disney did all they could to make things fun for them. I have also read the following day the parks have low crowds, which is a positive. The one thing I worry about is a hurricane on an arrival or departure day which could be troublesome.

I am trying not to worry though, bc Disney just makes me so happy that even if a hurricane came I think I would just be happy to be there. Although, I am sure it would make things interesting.
