Hi. you are so good to plan it out so far in advance.

I'm a little slow this week. A lot of family visiting.

But I've done: M- Supercharged sculpting, T- nothing, W-Aerobic Body shaping, Th- just some free weights on my own, F- nothing.

Hope I can get my butt in gear tomorrow morning. I haven't done too much cardio this week because I rollerbladed last weekend or the one before and got really bad blisters. They are just healing up good enough to wear sneakers again.

Oh yeah, Cobbler, thanks for the links to Bodyfit.com. I've been reading some of the forums over there. Pretty informative. And there is a poster on there that says he is one of the original founders of the Firm. Mark Hendricksen. I find his posts informative.
 
I was wondering where everyone was, sounds like you are doing pretty good.

I haven't gone to the bodyfit forum in a long time, maybe I should head over and check it out.

Hello, big-time slacker popping in here to admit my sins :rolleyes: In addition to the golf that I do every Monday, I think I only got in 1 FIRM workout last week. This week I did better ... did Complete Body Sculpting yesterday and Ultimate Calorie Blaster today. I'm hoping that I'm done with my bad habits and back on track with the good ones now :yay:

Cobbler ... looks like you're rocking right along with your program for this month. Keep up the good work.

I'm really considering shelling out the bucks for the new TransFIRMation program ... I'm going to be doing a lot more travelling for work this fall, and this program looks more like something I could bring with me and do in a hotel room :confused3 Anyone have a clue about the shipping time when ordering right from the Firm? I'm kind of an "instant gratification" kind of a girl ... I don't think I could wait 4 - 6 weeks :rolleyes1
 
Good job Poohssmum. It's hard to get into the swing of things, but once you do it is smooth sailing.

I am actually looking forward to working out again. Just keep plugging away.

I would also check www.collagevideo.com for the system. It may be a bit more but shipping is usually only around $6 instead of the outragous price the FIRM site charges. Plus their service - unless they have improved since the last system, it could actually take that long to get it.

It does look great for traveling. I haven't invested yet, when I get some extra funds I am thinking about it.

Fri- Jiggle Free Arms and Buns! Thought I'd try to make up for the earlier part of the week!

Probably going to run tomorrow....Hope so!

Updating my progress.

I didn't workout today which is why I gave myself a sad face. Although we did a ton of walking at the Blueberry festival today. But I do believe we walked about 4 miles. So I didn't know what face to put.

The walk was leisure and it wasn't really a workout, so I decided to do the sad face.
 
Bumping us up. I didn't do my cardio workout today but I am going to jog 2.5 miles tonight, so I put a :( next to my workout.

I still am feeling pretty good about my progress though.
 
Cobbler I think you are doing great! I like your Plutos.

I never ran this weekend. :( Did some gardening on Sunday.
Mon- Just a quick 20 min run and 20 min weights and squats.
Tue- Aerobic Body Shaping

I have company until Sat. I think I will have a hard time getting too much more in this week. I'm having an easier time doing small segments here and there. It took me 2 hours to get through the workout today. I had so many interuptions! Oh well.
 
Just a smidge OT - but to answer one of the questions I ordered the new transFIRMation program directly from the firm and I think it took about a week to get here. I also paid all at once so I think that upgraded me to express shipping? So far I've only done two of the workouts on the express option and I really liked them. I don't really have enough time to do a complete Firm workout but the express option seemed seemless and pretty complete for 25 minutes. If you have any questions - just let me know!

Wow, that is impressive on the shipment. I haven't had horrible luck with them, just lengthy.

Got a new treadmill today. The one I had was a hand me down, about 14 years old. It was on a slight incline and you had to manually incline it, well while running the other day I hear a big CLUNK, then a little bit later another CLUNK. The bar that holds up the running surface while on incline broke and it makes a terrible noise.

So I saw one at Dick's Sporting goods, they had them on clearance, got a $500 treadmill for $249!
 
Cobbler, I hope you love your new treadmill. Sometimes a new toy is the best thing for keeping you going. My treadmill has a rip in the mat. So every rotation it makes a loud slapping sound. Very annoying.

Crzyforpiglet- I have only used the firm tapes that have a step in them. Are there a lot of squats and lunges in these new videos? How are the weights are they quick to add and take away the weight? I definitely need more tapes. I'm getting a little bored with the ones I have.

As far as my progress this week. I have fallen off the Firm bandwagon! I had company staying in my house and it was too crazy. My sister is training for the Disneyland 1/2 in a few weeks so I ran with her a couple times and I biked next to her on her long run. So my week:

Wed- 30 min elliptical, Thur- 3 mile run, Fri- 9 miles biking and 1 mile run, Sat- 35 min trail hike (slow pace with the kids), Sun- nothing, Mon- Jiggle Free Arms.

Planning on more workouts this week!

So far I've done 3 of the 4 videos but only on the express option. The one I did yesterday had the most squats and lunges by far it was the Hard Core Fusion video. I can't remember the instructors name but I remember her from other Firm videos as being the most intense and she was. The other two I did had some squats and lunges but it didn't seem like a lot to me. Maybe if you did the whole workout you'd get some more. The weights are pretty easy. Basically you get 4 handles and enough weights to mix and match so you can have 4 light, medium, or hard or 2 light and 2 medium, etc. During the tape they use the weights in and out but since you already have them made up you don't have to stop in the workout to unscrew weights and adjust them - does that make sense? I'm really happy with the tapes so far.

Hello all. Had to tweak my last week and take it more easy, my legs are very sore. I have never ever had them hurt this bad before so I am giving them a break.
 
Not a great week for me:mad: I only Firmed 2 times last week. and the last time was on Tues! And this week I haven't done anything. I wasn't feeling good yesterday or today. I'm mad at myself. I really want to see some progress.

Cobbler, I'm sorry to hear your legs are hurting you so much? Were you doing something different? Running? I hope you feel better soon!

CrzyforPiglet, thanks for the insight on the new workouts. I'm really thinking of getting them to widen my variety!
