Hi,

We are doing two days at DVC after our cruise. The plan is to treat the kids to MNSSHP and then spend a day at the pools. Almost all the properties are an option. Any recommendations?

BLT, if you want to be able to walk back to your hotel after MNSSHP.

BCV, if you want what is considered to be the most desirable pool in DVC.

Poly, only if you want a studio - the feature pool very nice and you're a monorail or boat ride away from the MK.

Marionette hits the highlights, I agree. If I had to choose one, I'd likely go with BLT due to the proximity to MK. Hard to beat walking back "home" after a day (evening) in the park.

10 and 3. Both girls are great travellers/city girls, so they are accustomed to commuting. I think we are leaning towards hotel amenities over location, since they both love a pool. We are doing a week at Poly for spring break so that's out. GF has what looks like a cool water feature but everyone says BCV is better so may have to try it out.

We loved our stay at BCV the only thing I didn't like was the pool slide was across the path that circles the lake outside the pool area so that meant with DD being 7 I had to go with her as its too far out of site for my comfort level.

Hmm...I would put off BCV for a trip a few years into the future. The current in the lazy river is pretty strong and the water is very deep in some areas. The sight lines are poor. The entrance to the slide is outside of the fenced area. With a 3-year-old, I would be on pins and needles the whole time. There would be no "relaxing by the pool".

OTOH, the GF aquatic area is a lot of fun. The pools are large and if you really want a treat, you can rent a cabana at the beach pool. It would be my pick if I had younger children with me.

Yes I agree BCV May make me nervous with a 3 year old. BRV/VWL is also very nice. Boat ride after the party is convenient as well. We really enjoyed our stay in April.

Thank u everyone for ur input. I think we are deciding between GF and Wilderness. I love a Cabana!!!!! But the party and cruise is already a test so I can't keep pushing it.
