August crowds?

Hi -

We are planning to be at Disneyland at the end of August, and we can go either Wednesday, August 21st - Friday, the 23rd, or Wednesday, August 28th - Friday, the 30th? I know no one knows for sure, but would there be any major anticipated differences in crowds?

I know once summer blockouts end for AP holders, there can be an increase in crowds, but it looks like that is occurring the week prior to the 21st, so potentially the surge has ended by then?

Halloween Time in 2024 begins on Friday the 23rd. The 23rd will be insane because of this. I'm sure it will be busy both of your proposed dates, but the 23rd will be overrun with bloggers and influencers filming everything in sight. The crush of humanity among MK holders will also be intense starting in the late afternoon on the 23rd to see HMH (if open) and the fresh Halloween offerings for the year. I would say, overall, the earlier dates are better with the exception being the 23rd.

The later you go in August, the more schools will have started. That will eliminate some people during the day.
