August Crowds and Park Hopping Question

We always had Park Hoppers in the past but never used them. We always visited during the off season and the crowds never really drove me from one Park to another. Out of all of our trips the one time we Hopped was to leave a closed MK to see Illuminations at Epcot. So for this trip I bought Base ticket with Plus Pack (never have been to the water parks) - Should I SERIOUSLY reconsider and add the Hopper (I could spend the $105 <$35 x3 > elsewhere on the trip. I guess if the crowds are heavy and with the heat I could possibl see going to a EMH park early and late only with a non EMH park in the middle....or is that insane?

I will have a car and am contempating driving to each park to doge the long bus queues I am reading about.

Been to Disney many times in the off season but All this talk about the crowds and the heat are beginning to worry me for this Aug 10-20 trip....

I'm in FL now. It's gonna be warm and humid. I live here. But, the hopper to me is more worth it. You can jump in water anywhere!

We hop more in August than at cooler times of year. We like to go to a park early for a few hours, go back and swim during the afternoon, siesta, and then go to a park for the evening and fireworks. It's so hot in August and there are almost always afternoon storms that we can't do an all day stint at a park. I think the hopper pass would be well worth it.

I can't imagine not being able to Hop. It's rare we do all one Park for a day. Especially in the High Heat of August at a more crowded time of the year. I would find hopping imperative. But that's just us & our Touring style. I'm sure it can be done - just not by us

I just came back from WDW yesterday and do not go to WDW without Park Hop! We went to 3 parks in just one day also! But we did not enjoy Animal Kingdom this time? Why, Who Knows? NO SHADE! Plus we never waited no more for 20 MINUTES FOR ANYTHING! Here is the trick!

MK on Sunday go in Morning FP Splash and BTM
MK on EMH Friday Night for Tomorrowland
AK on Wed. Morning
MGM on Sunday EMH and Monday for Fantasmic!
Epcot on Tuesday
We waited 13 minutes for Soarin BUT IT DISPLAYED 60 MINUTES
We waited 9 minutes for Space Mtn in EMH BUT IT DISPLAYED 40 MIN.
We waited 7 minutes on RoR and ToT both displayed 80 min during emh!
We waited 15 minutes for DINOSAUR
We wiated 20 minutes on Test Track displayed 60 min,
We walked on Star Tours
