Hello all!,

We are looking to go back to the "Land" as our DS call it! Our intention was to visit Seattle and then fly into Long Beach and do DL Mon-Friday August 24th and check out August 29th. We can save some money with Flights if we actually reverse our plans and do DL first.

My questions are:

1) How much more crowded will the parks be on Saturday and Sunday (8/21&8/22)?
I know they will be more crowded obviously then a weekday, but are they manageable to get rides and attractions in? Last year at Disney world in August the weekends were crazy. We will stay on property at the PP.

2) If it ends up that we do Mon-fri, are there any shows or fireworks that we would miss out on that they may not do during the week?

We love WOC and think it's the best show hands down of both Disney Properties, so I would think that runs everyday.

Thanks for the help!

I can't make Fantasmic dining reservations during that week, so I'm assuming they're going to weekends only for that show.

The worst case is that the major shows will run at least run on Friday. WOC has always run nightly so that is a good guess it will still be that way. I would expect Sun Aug 23 to be pretty crowded with it being the first weekend after the SoCal AP blockout lifts.

There are some major new shows at DLR including the new Disneyland Forever fireworks show and Paint the Night night time parade.

In the past shows wold decrease that last week of August but with this being a special 60th anniversary year for DL they may not.

Thank you.

They have the entertainment schedule thru Aug 22. I would keep watching in the next week or two for the release of the following week.
