I only ask because I've NEVER gotten any kind of advanced notice on rates by them & am looking forward to the highly anticipated and ever hopeful release of a Dec promo...

I have the disney visa and love earning the rewards dollars, however, IMO it is not great as far as most discounts go. The free dining promo does give disney visa card holders a couple of days in advance to book, but most codes do not.

Actually I think this is the first time I remember that we didn't get at least a day's head start on a code like this.

Either way, DV only gives codes that will be out for everyone the next day, so it really isn't all that special.

Was anyone told the new myw package deal was not available for values, we have free dining but my mom was unable to get FD so I tried to use this on her package and he said no problem then after he said "doesn't look like you can use this on values" oh okay? So I kept her package the same.

On the page that lists the special it says:

I had a pin code and have a ressie at the BC - but just room only. I thought these new codes were also room only.

Whoo hoo! I called at lunch and got the discount for AP holders that includes the DDP.

We originally had a AAA discount at POFQ that totalled $1073 for the week. Just switched to CS, and the new total including dining is $1651 -- so for less than $600 we got meals for the entire week!

I called and got the rate for Port Orleans! It is about $500 less then if we go in October (I know maybe a code would come out for Oct). We have kept going back and forth about when we were going but the code sealed the deal!!!!!!

Yep, you just need to contact your TA and ask them to contact Disney. Good luck!

Did your TA get you the new rate? I am having an issue with my AAA ressie , but I want to switch resorts...
Please help me with my Fuzzy Disney math!!!! I currently am booked with AAA and tried my hand at a new reservation with the public codes. My TA assured me that the AAA code was better and there was no availability at Beach Club- (which is where I was hoping to switch to). Lo and behold, I got an AWESOME CM who tried many codes that I told him plus one I hadn't heard of before (BCT) and he got me a rate of $3,400 for 1 adult / 2 kids package with basic dining. The rack rate for that same deal is $4800- from the website. Here's my dilemma-the new reservation is about $$800 more than our current one- but it's at the BEACH CLUB! plus, if I take it I and lose the $200 deposit from AAA- so it's really a $1000 switch. I have a hold on it and I hate making decisions!!! What would my fellow Dissers do?

Don't feel bad. We have been trying for over a week for a value for Aug 3-9. First with the pin code that came in the mail, AAA, and even AP rates. Then this code today with NO LUCK!!! There are not even hardly any Value rooms at rack rate to be had. Moderates are mostly gone too except for CB. (no thanks since the pool is under refurb) I have tried 3 x's a day for the last several days and still nada. So...we just decided to splurge and got YC with MYW + dining.

Moral...Keep you ressie for your value or you won't find one.

Our TA managed to switch our AAA poly ressie to GF at the $309 a night rate We are paying just $60 more to stay at GF than the Poly, both Garden views.

I noticed the values are blocked out from Aug 27-Sept 1 and Sept 16-27th. so maybe if someone's days include a blockout day then it would be available if you did a split stay ( if it falls w/in your dates of course)? Just thinking about the person who called for a ressie for their Mom during the FD period. I also read the email seeing that it DID include the values. As usual, keep calling as people book and cx all the time. It's always best to hold something "just in case" and have some time to think about it, otherwise if you call back what you wanted could be gone.---Kathy
