£266 for standard car with eBookers less 6% Quidco but I never find an easy way to find the car care centre on eBookers, I have to mess about looking for other locations near Lake Buena Vista.

Is there a reason why you wouldn't pick it up at the airport? Whenever I have priced up picking up at Car Care Center it is significantly more expensive. Would be cheaper to collect at the airport when you arrive - unless, of course, that would mean another 2 weeks' rental or something ;)

Its same price with Alamo Joh, I checked earlier. Only cheaper option I saw from MCO was Budget. about £10 saving.

Car hire just seems expensive this year - I don't think anyone has found any bargins :sad2:

I thought FL was expensive until I priced up collecting a car at Newark and nearly fell off my chair!!

Have you tried USrentacar.co.uk ? I have used them before and I found them great value.
£320.76 for the same rental, £55 more.
USrentacar used to be very competitive but about 2 years ago they seemed to stop competing. I think they have a good customer base who continue to use them but their prices are rarely good anymore.

Sorry - new here so hope this is ok.

I was looking at the car prices through American Airlines (after seeing the post about the tickets) and the prices seemed quite good - it has about £40 saving on the minivan we like with alamo

Is this all we need with regards to insurance? We don't need extra drivers as it is only hubby that can drive

Airport Fees, Collision Damage Waiver, Unlimited Mileage, Liability Protection, State Tax, Collision Damage Waiver Full, Extended Protection, Customer Facility Charge 2.50/Day, Priv Fee Recov Chg 10 Pct, Tire/Battery Fee .02/Day, Florida Surcharge 2.00/Day, Vehicle License Fee .64/Day, Sales Tax

Thanks again

Sorry - meant to say I couldn't see anything about uninsured drivers as in other policies - is this a problem?

Thanks again

Its a fully inclusive policy, looks to be everything you need.

Just checked price with AA for OP and looks to be best deal at £245.52

Thanks for replying wayneg - I was just a bit concerned about the uninsured driver bit - we normally go with companies like usrentacar who has everything in thier insurance but as you say they are getting a bit expensive

On AA - Dollar was cheaper than Alamo but the insurance section was sparse - I am a worrier and like to know everything is covered

Thanks again for reading my post and replying
