August at the 7 month mark

Hello all.....just curious how difficult it is for a 2 bedroom for mid August at the 7 month mark? Thank you!!

We are going soon, I know at the 7 month window we had a choice to f 1 bedroom ocean view or a 2 bedroom non ocean view ( it was like 30 more points)

The larger rooms were available but book ASAP. Everything was sold out a few weeks before we left. We stayed 8/1-8/7.

I was able to get a 2 bedroom back in January for our vacation now at Aulani. I changed our date for a week later as our schedules switched and still found availability.

I am looking at the same timing-due to both boys going off to college and not know what colleges I have to be safe!! I am trying to keep enough points available, I heard the standard and smaller rooms go first. Be ready to get more than you want or need I have been told!!
